This week’s Weekly Photo Challenge has already provided me a few giggles.

I had been throwing around a few ideas in my head and as I was mentally drafting my post I thought I would have a look at what my fellow bloggers have been submitting…..
Instantly there was This Man’s Journey with his always heart felt post and opening line ” Love love love…. “, my favourite line from a Beatles song which I had mentally earmarked for my post.

Next is Mother Grogan with his “toilet love” !!!

Now this amused me a lot as it was only a couple of days ago I photographed the toilet in my pink bathroom with the thought in my mind I would make it work for this weeks theme.
Now who’d have thought the theme was going to be “love”.
Love and toilets ? Not your every day association, but certainly laugh-worthy ………and definitely appealed to my sense of humour.
As I sit here in my beloved vintage holey black t-shirt that states ” Addicted to love” I glance out my bedroom door and into the bathroom. There is my umbrella which I stuck in the shower to dry off. It is splattered with brightly coloured love hearts. Pushed to the side: my shower curtain, also covered in bright pink and red love hearts.
This starts my mind ticking:-
Above my window hangs a copper and peacock feather hand made dream-catcher that I bought from “Levi – The Shaman” in Kurranda Markets a couple of months ago. Around my neck hangs the silver heart necklace I religiously wear which reads “sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye“, a personal mantra to myself to remember to love. In my wallet: a piece of pink rose quartz that I carry around for the same reason. Love.
I am quickly realising that “love” is all around me in all different shapes and forms.
But, I know that love does not lie in materialistic things (except for maybe chocolate, cute jewellery and dresses) so below I have included a few things that I am currently in “love” with.
“Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens….. bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens….. brown paper packages tied up with string… these are a few of my favourite things.…… “
